Movie Magic Film Camps is always looking for talented people to join the team! Applicant must be available during the summer months, have excellent references, transportation, background in film or media with demo reel and minimum of 1 year of history working with youth. Exceptional staff is the reason Movie Magic is successful. Although programming and location are important, it is a special counsellor that youth will remember most from their camp experience. Anyone working for Movie Magic Camps are well screened before being considered for employment, a process that includes solid references, resume, participation and an interview plus a Police Reference Check. All staff are CPR and First Aid Certified. Depending on enrollment additional staff for Movie Magic camp may be provided by each municipality. In this case the municipality will be responsible for training, certification and reference checks.

Movie Magic Film Camp program coordinator Chris Jaycox has an accomplished career in film and television as well as working with youth. Originally starting out making movies on weekends with friends at age 9 Chris ended up winning the Canadian International Film Festival by age 16. Moving from film into television at 18 he successfully landed his first broadcast television series in 2002 with "Outlast" a high school student survivor spin-off before joining forces with a new startup TV station out of Los Angeles.

In 2009 Chris was hired as the team leader for the District of Whistler's after school care program. The following year he was hired to plan and run the entire summer program calendar for Tofino Parks and Recreation as the program coordinator for the district.

Currently, Chris runs the Movie Magic Camp FIlm Camp during summer months spends the fall and winters working out of CHEK TV in Victoria traveling and producing two television programs: "Slopestyle TV" and "Aboriginal Adventures Canada".
